Booking 7 questions

You can book in three ways:

All bookings are confirmed immediately with a full confirmation sent by email.

Yes. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. To cancel or amend, contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email with your booking reference and we will action it immediately.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup may be subject to a charge. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.

Yes. Immediately after confirming your booking you will receive an email containing your booking reference, full journey details, driver information, and your confirmed fixed price. If you do not receive a confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us directly.

We recommend booking as early as possible to guarantee vehicle availability, especially for early morning airport pickups or peak travel periods. However, we also accept bookings with short notice and will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests. Contact us directly for same-day bookings.

Payment can be made securely online at the time of booking by debit or credit card. If you prefer to pay by another method or have specific corporate billing requirements, please contact us before booking and we will advise on available options.

Absolutely. You can book a journey for a colleague, client, family member, or any passenger. Simply provide the passenger's name when booking and include any relevant flight or journey details. Our driver will meet and greet the named passenger directly.

Yes. Child seats can be arranged on request. Please mention the requirement at the time of booking, including your child's age and weight so we can fit the correct seat. We recommend the Estate or XL vehicle class for families travelling with child seats and luggage.

Pricing 5 questions

When you book with RydeLynk, your fare is calculated and confirmed at the time of booking. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees, no surge charges at busy times, and no additional costs added on arrival. What is agreed upfront is final.

No. RydeLynk does not operate surge pricing under any circumstances. Your fare is the same whether you book at midnight, on Christmas Day, or during a busy bank holiday weekend. The price agreed at booking is always the price you pay.

Yes. Any applicable charges such as the London Congestion Charge, ULEZ charge, or road tolls are included in your quoted fare. You will never be asked to pay additional charges on top of the price confirmed at booking.

Our hourly hire rate is agreed and confirmed before your booking. The minimum hire period is two hours. The rate varies by vehicle class. Contact us directly for a quote tailored to your specific requirements and duration.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your pickup are completely free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may incur a fee. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change and we will always try to find a fair resolution.

Airport Transfers 6 questions

We provide transfers to and from all five major London airports:

  • Heathrow Airport — all terminals
  • Gatwick Airport — North and South terminals
  • Stansted Airport
  • Luton Airport
  • London City Airport

We also cover regional airports across the UK. Contact us if you need a transfer from any other airport.

Nothing at all. You do not need to contact us. We monitor every flight in real time and your driver automatically adjusts their arrival time to match your updated landing time. You will always have 60 minutes of free waiting time from the moment your flight lands, giving you plenty of time to clear customs and collect your luggage.

For all airport pickups, your driver will wait 60 minutes free of charge from the time your flight lands. For all other pickups such as homes, hotels, or offices, your driver will wait 15 minutes free of charge. Additional waiting time beyond these periods may be charged at an agreed rate.

With our meet and greet service, your driver will be waiting inside the arrivals hall with a name board displaying your name. They will help you with your luggage and guide you directly to your waiting vehicle. This service is included as standard on all airport pickups at no extra charge.

For passengers with extra luggage, we recommend the following:

  • Estate — up to 4 passengers with 3 large suitcases and 3 hand carry bags
  • XL — up to 6 passengers with 4 large suitcases and 4 hand carry bags
  • Executive MPV — up to 8 passengers with 6 large suitcases and 4 hand carry bags

If you are unsure, contact us before booking and we will recommend the right vehicle for your group and luggage.

Yes. We provide both airport pickups and drop-offs to all London airports. When booking a drop-off, simply enter your home, hotel, or office address as the pickup location and the airport terminal as the destination. We will ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your flight.

Vehicles and Fleet 5 questions

We offer six vehicle classes to suit every journey and group size:

  • Economy — Toyota Prius or similar, up to 4 passengers, 2 suitcases
  • Comfort — VW Passat GTE or similar, up to 4 passengers, 2 suitcases
  • Estate — Skoda Octavia Estate or similar, up to 4 passengers, 3 suitcases
  • Executive — Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar, up to 4 passengers, 2 suitcases
  • XL — VW Sharan or similar, up to 6 passengers, 4 suitcases
  • Executive MPV — Mercedes-Benz Vito or similar, up to 8 passengers, 6 suitcases

Each class lists a primary vehicle followed by "or similar". This means you will always receive a vehicle of the same class, capacity, and quality standard. The specific model may vary depending on availability but the passenger capacity, luggage allowance, and overall standard will always match what is described.

Yes. Every vehicle in the RydeLynk fleet is cleaned and sanitised before each booking. All vehicles are regularly inspected for roadworthiness, safety, and cleanliness. No vehicle enters service unless it meets our full quality checklist. You will always enter a fresh, immaculate vehicle regardless of the class booked.

In-car Wi-Fi is available in our Executive and Executive MPV class vehicles, making them ideal for business travellers who need to stay connected. If Wi-Fi is a specific requirement, please confirm availability when booking.

Yes. Our Economy class Toyota Prius is a hybrid vehicle and our Comfort class Volkswagen Passat GTE is a plug-in hybrid, both producing significantly lower emissions than standard petrol vehicles. We are committed to expanding our low-emission fleet as part of our ongoing responsible operations programme.

Drivers and Safety 4 questions

Yes, without exception. RydeLynk is a Transport for London (TfL) licensed private hire operator. Every driver holds a valid TfL private hire driver licence, has passed a full DBS background check, and has completed professional driver training. Every vehicle is TfL-licensed and carries full comprehensive private hire insurance.

All RydeLynk drivers are professionally trained, smartly presented, courteous, and discreet. They are experienced in navigating London and the wider UK and understand the importance of punctuality and professionalism on every booking. You can expect the same high standard of service on every single journey.

No. Unlike app-based ride-hailing platforms, RydeLynk honours every booking. We do not allow last-minute driver cancellations. Every booking is assigned a dedicated driver who is committed to the job. This is particularly important for time-critical airport pickups and early morning journeys.

Yes. Every vehicle in the RydeLynk fleet carries full comprehensive private hire insurance in line with Transport for London requirements. All vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they meet the highest safety standards. Your safety and peace of mind are our highest priority.

Yes. We cover the whole of the UK. Popular long-distance destinations include Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Southampton cruise port, Harwich cruise port, and many others. All long-distance journeys are offered at a fixed, pre-agreed price. Contact us for a quote on your specific route.

We provide pickups and drop-offs at all major London railway stations, including King's Cross, Euston, Paddington, Waterloo, Victoria, London Bridge, and Marylebone. For station pickups, your driver will wait 15 minutes free of charge. We also cover regional stations across the UK for long-distance transfers.

Yes. Our sightseeing tours are fully customisable. Tell us which landmarks you want to visit and how long you would like to spend, and we will arrange everything. Tours are booked on an hourly basis with a minimum of two hours. Contact us to discuss your ideal itinerary and get a quote.

Yes. We regularly transfer passengers to and from Southampton, Harwich, Dover, and Tilbury cruise terminals. We recommend our Estate, XL, or Executive MPV class vehicles for cruise passengers who typically travel with large amounts of luggage. All cruise port transfers are booked at a fixed price agreed upfront.

Yes. We provide premium event transportation for weddings, galas, corporate dinners, concerts, and private parties across London and the UK. We can coordinate multiple vehicles for large groups and manage arrival times with precision. Contact us well in advance to discuss your event requirements and receive a tailored quote.

Yes. VAT invoices are available on request for all bookings. Please contact us after your journey or request an invoice at the time of booking and we will ensure the correct documentation is provided for your records.
